MODERN THEATRE:
For students aged 5 and above, Modern Theatre provides an exciting platform to explore different dance styles and techniques, contributing to a well-rounded dance education. With both technical training and performance skills, we help to prepare young students for a potential career in the dance industry, or simply cultivate a lifelong love for dance. Modern Theatre classes are designed to offer technical dance training suitable for aspiring performers in West End Theatre and beyond. The students are exposed to various styles, including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, West End jazz, and street dance. We follow the ISTD Modern Theatre examinations syllabus, and our students progress through the grades during their training.
IMPERIAL CLASSICAL BALLET:
For young aspiring dancers, we specialise in children's ballet classes. The prime focus is nurturing the love for dance amongst young age groups, with classes starting from 3 years old. Ballet is a timeless art form that teaches discipline, poise, and grace. Our ballet classes in Hackney are structured to introduce young dancers to the fundamental ballet techniques while developing a sense of self-confidence and unique, innovative expression. We follow the ISTD Imperial Classic Ballet examinations syllabus, and our students progress through the grades during their training.
** New to the Autumn/Winter term 2024 we are also bringing Adult Ballet classes to N1. After success at our SE1 location we would love to see some new faces join us next term! Check out our timetable for more info.
