MODERN THEATRE:
For students aged 5 and above, Modern Theatre classes provide an exciting platform to explore different dance styles and techniques, contributing to a well-rounded dance education. With technical training and performance skills, I help prepare young students for a potential career in the dance industry or simply cultivate a lifelong love for dance. Modern dance classes are designed to offer technical dance training suitable for aspiring performers in West End Theatre and beyond. My students are exposed to various styles of modern dance, including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, West End jazz, and street dance.
IMPERIAL CLASSICAL BALLET:
For young aspiring dancers, I specialise in children's ballet classes. My prime focus is on nurturing the love for dance amongst young age groups, with classes starting from 3 years old. Ballet is a timeless art form that teaches discipline, poise, and grace. My ballet classes in Hackney are structured to introduce young dancers to the fundamental ballet techniques while developing a sense of self-confidence and unique, innovative expression.
** New to the Autumn/Winter term 2024 we are also bringing Adult Ballet classes to N1. After success at our SE1 location we would love to see some new faces join us next term!
TAP DANCE:
** Brand new for the Autumn/Winter term 2024, Jennifer Yhip School of Dance is now introducing tap classes at N1! Tap dancing is all about rhythm, timing, and creating music with your feet. Come and learn to shuffle, cramp-roll and riff your way into an exciting and fun dance style.
